We’re always on the lookout for interesting writing-related info to share with you via our Twitter account, Linked In page, and our Facebook Page.
We were recently informed, however, that some of you aren’t seeing our Facebook posts in your personal news feeds (the news feed you see when you first log in). This is because Facebook no longer pushes posts from business pages to our personal news feed.
In order to see the wonderful information we’re posting, you must take the following steps:
Log into Facebook and click on your Pages Feed, which can be found in the menu on the left side of your page (as per the image above). Los Angeles Writers Group posts should appear here, along with posts from other businesses you follow.
To regularly see our posts in your personal news feed, without having to check your pages feed, you must:
Interact with us! Let us know if you see the information we’re posting by clicking the Like icon, leaving us a comment, or by clicking on a link we’ve posted. The more you interact with the Los Angeles Writers Group posts, the more our posts will show up in your personal news feed.
No matter which choice you make, you’ll still receive an abundance of information from us about our own workshops and classes, as well as the local LA literary scene, calls for submissions, interviews with authors, industry news, and much more.
